I've tried different resolutions, changing options within the cfg file, etc.but stil end up with the same error. Support even commented that the say they initiate DX runs fine on my computer in standalone mode, but it won't complete in the game. Spray&Pray: I agree something seems to be tripping up with the Direct3D, but every test seems to indicate that it runs fine-just not in the game itself. H2O: After reading all the problems that others had with multiple monitors, I have only used the main screen since then. This is part of what has led me to believe it is more about the game than my system. Hohiro: Yep, I've tried running with the integrated graphics, but get the same error. They have agreed that my system more than meets the minimum requirements and should run the game easily. In our tests, the DirectX works great and the way it should-but only outside of the game. Sorry for my delay-I've been working with the game tech support to see what we can find. Every time I've tried something different, the log file is the same, so I've not yet touched whatever is the problem. All drivers have been updated and double-checked. I've tried different combinations of the cfg.txt file for video, but with no luch. After clicking to start the game, my screen goes white for 2-3 seconds, flashes, goes white again for another 2 seconds, then crashes to desktop. I've played Fallout 3 on this rig, and it meets the specs, so I'm at a loss why it won't run. Help! I cannot get this game to run on my system at all.
